The owner of the company, aside from being a 32 year master carpenter, is also a Vigneron and Vinter and grows grapes and makes wine at his Manatee County residence. He knows how to make a good wine and he knows how to store a good wine. Creating stunning wine cellars is his primary passion. As much as you can enjoy a bottle of a fabulous vintage, he equally enjoys building the cellar you stored it in. If you are a wine connoisseur you can understand this passion.
Custom wine storage racks are one of the true tests of a carpenters ability, they are monotonous to construct, have more parts than any other millwork project but can add an ambiance to a wine cellar worthy of the finest vintages. Our designs are meant to keep the corks wet during storage to prevent them from drying out, bottles stored semi-upright on display with natural corks should be the bottles that are consumed first or rotated with other bottles previously stored horizontally a few times a year. Bottles sealed with flor quality corks meant to be aged for 7-10+ years should never be stored dry cork. Vintages bottled with these high quality corks are to be cared for optimally. Bottles with synthetic corks can be stored upright until consumption. The quality of the wine you plan to store and how it was bottled is a factor in how your cellar should be designed.
If you are a wine collector/investor or you just want to be able to properly store and care for a zombie apocalypse amount of wine, we can custom build a wine cellar for any space for any wine quality. We can make suggestions to properly control the environment or build commercial coolers into any design. Our wine cellar services are available to home and restaurant owners.
